Dan Major was locked up for 6.5 months in a Canadian prison and 9.5 months under house arrest while he waited for his day in court because his wife Sherry Major made false allegations against him. Her allegations pitted citizen Dan Major against the full resources of the York Regional Police, the Children's Aid Society, the Ontario Family Courts and YRP Officer Terry Jordan who apparently motivated by Sherry Major's lies and his affections for Sherry Major went on a witch hunt to destroy Dan's life and take away his liberty while at the same time having an intimate affair with Sherry Major. In the end, Sherry Major was proven a liar and a fraud and Officer Terry Jordan was demoted and given a wrist slapping for his inappropriate behaviour. All charges against Dan Major were dropped. Sherry Major's Kidnapped Dan's children and currently lives in Truro, Nova Scotia. Dan lost his friends, his life's savings, his career, his house, his self esteem and his kids. Dan Major hasn't seen his 2 children since August 2009 and doesn't have the financial or emotional resources to fight the system to get them back. His story is a Father's Nightmare.
Canadians have been taught that when you are wrong, you say sorry and you try to make things right !!! Shouldn't there finally be some Justice for Dan? Shouldn't the system that stole everything that mattered to him now help right the wrongs and help get some justice for Dan? Shouldn't Dan be financially compensated for having his liberty stolen from him? Losing his liberty is what caused his entire world to crumble. Shouldn't Dan finally bring his kids home?
